The Four Agreements Clip Art

Honestly, much of what Don Miguel says is verified by other sources. Not taking anything personally is not so much mentioned about extremes in an article, but about our lives is controlled by the words/beliefs of others. Lao Tzu says that if we take care of the agreement of others, we will be their servant. The agreements are about my attitude towards others and the world around me. With regard to my question whether the metaphysics underlying the four agreements is a connivance, I would like to quote my final comments: “Are these four agreements really due to the old wisdom of Toltec? I bet many stubborn skeptics would have serious doubts about that. I`m skeptical myself. You`ll find more information in my very first PT contribution on how snake oil sometimes works. The four agreements have been described as simple, even simplistic. And certainly not worth paying $7.49 to read about it. There is only one way to find out, and that is to read the book. You can borrow a copy if you don`t want to add Ruiz`s financial fortune. I think there are layers of subtlety to these chords that they are much less simple than they achieve. But someone else might disagree after reading other people`s book, and I respect that. Those who feel that these agreements are too easy to live must live off some other agreements with themselves.

Or if you agree with the chords, but you find out that you live off them all the time and don`t need to call it back with little books like this, it`s great. Especially if you haven`t broken up with $7.49. And if you think someone could write a bestsy book like this, what are you waiting for? Words can sometimes be interpreted in different ways. The four agreements, if only listed, may seem simple or even simplistic. The appearance of simplicity can make the four chords attractive to those looking for simple answers. The appearance of simplicity can also make chords a goal for skeptics who doubt that there are simple answers. At the end of the day, the way we interpret these agreements reflects who we are. Who am I? Someone who is curious about proposing a better life and who, in some cases, is willing to study and think about these proposals. In studying the writings of the Ruiz family, I noticed ideas that correspond to best practices based on research in modern psychology, which fascinated me enough to blog about it. Do these four agreements really come from the ancient wisdom of Toltec? I bet many stubborn skeptics would have serious doubts about that. I`m skeptical myself.

But I could tell my skeptical colleagues that Ruiz`s next book, The Fifth Agreement, offers the following agreement: “Be skeptical, but learn to listen.” But as we mature, we can become warriors and break away from it with our implanted and false ideas. We can accept healthier agreements. Ruiz presents in his book four such healthier chords. Below is a reader`s Digest version; I have written in more detail about the chords elsewhere. In addition to demhur`s book and book, there is also an eBook, a four-colour picture book, a card game and an online course. [1] If you look at one of the chords, apart from the 5th, obviously added by Ruiz`s son, critical and thoughtful, you can see how simplistic it is. This audit makes me pee because it seems to give credibility to what, in reality, is totally absurd. With consciousness and understanding comes forgiveness. I`m sorry for our past and for the persistent “mistakes” we still have in relation to the agreements we still have. Forgive us for letting ourselves and the people around us suffer because of these illusions. I`m sorry for the suffering that others cause because of their illusions. These agreements are not with individuals or groups of people; They`re made in myself.
